About Kristy

Hello, My name is Kristy, my experience in childcare started many years ago, however 5 years ago I began providing childcare for 3 children, under the age of 7. I have also provided childcare for niece and nephew, ages 4 and 2. My professional expertise is my 7 years in law enforcement where I was first aid trained and CPR certified. I also spent 2 years as a volunteer for the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Saginaw County as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) My caseload consisted of two young sisters ages(s) 4 and 5 years old that I spent 4 hours a week monitoring while on visitation with biological mom. I enjoyed my time volunteering, I was able to ensure my girls were placed into a loving home before ending my time in the CASA program due to relocating for my employment. I work full- time and my only child is 27 years old, I would enjoy filling some of my extra time helping families with their children. Thank you!
