About Krystle

I started my caregiving journey by helping to care for my younger cousins from a young age. I began sitting for other families at the age of 13. I love working with children and have used my experience with kids in my career as a Special Education teacher. I spent 15 years working as a Special Education teacher in both the general education classroom setting as well as special education classrooms, working with individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities, as well as behavioral challenges. I have several very special kiddos and families who have become like family, after caring for their children for a period of special years. I use my time with children as an opportunity to provide active and educational activities and not just letting the computer or television do the work. I am CPR and first aid certified and I am also experienced with g-tube feedings, lifting and transferring, self help and personal care skills, medication administration, and seizure monitoring.
