About Lalitha

I'm passionate about unlocking each student's unique potential. With a graduate degree and three years of experience working as a paraeducator (teacher assistant, building plans and materials to help special education students) in a middle school, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I adapt my teaching by actively listening to students, varying my strategies with visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions, and encouraging open communication. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, break down complex problems, and encourage curiosity. Open dialogue is essential for understanding student needs, setting clear expectations, and building trust. The most rewarding aspect is witnessing a student's "aha!" moment and growing confidence. I can help with Math, English, Science, and Computers at the Elementary and Middle School levels. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I would love to help your student succeed!
