About Lanita

I'm known to be responsible/dependable, punctual, flexible, respectful, creative, vigilant. I've been told that I am compassionate, calm, empathetic, and open minded. Can communicate however is preferred, texts, calls, written notes. I'm good at enforcing rules as needed. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding but also can be fun and that allows me to learn new things, and want to help support families and make a positive impact. I started working with kids when I was one myself, helping to raise my many foster siblings as we grew up through out the years, while also helping out the younger grades during my elementary to middle school years. I also have experience working as a Direct Support Professional for a year, working with a variety of clients from ages 16 to 75. While I left that job due to college, it still remains one of my favorite careers to this day; I enjoyed working with and meeting so many unique individuals and being able to help them grow was super fulfilling.
