About Lara

I am looking for babysitting jobs since one of my biggest passions is childcare and working with kids. I got my psych BA at IU Bloomington, and am really drawn to child psychology specifically as well as being double CPR certified and infant CPR certified for your peace of mind :) Whether it's arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor adventures, or anything else the kids wanna do I always aim to create a fun and stimulating environment for children under my care. Additionally, I possess skills in tutoring and homework help, and can also cook complex or simple meals. In terms of my approach to babysitting, I lean towards gentle methods that prioritize building respectful empathetic/trusting relationships with children. I believe in understanding and addressing their emotions and needs with patience and empathy rather than relying on authoritarian or punishment-based tactics. I'm looking for a job where I feel respected and communication is open as well as expectations being clear set.
