I retired from a senior level HR position at a local university in 2016. I have worked a number of interesting jobs since then, including a brief tenure as a flight attendant and an HR position with a start-up that provided after school enrichment programs for grades K-8th. Both of these positions required extensive background checks. I have two young grandchildren who live in New York. I wish that they lived closer, but we see each other frequently throughout the year. For a few months during the pandemic, I worked with a local family to transport their children home from school each day. I am looking for a position where I can help a family with some of their after school childcare needs.
