About Laura

I'd describe my personality as creative, empathetic, and inquisitive. I like working with animals because they bring me joy, and I enjoy learning about their personalities and temperaments. I'm naturally inclined to tend to them. I'm looking for a job with a reliable weekly schedule. I currently have a flexible schedule and would like to spend time outside with a fun sweet pup a few times a week. I started working with animals when I was in my twenties, dog-sitting for friends and their relatives whenever they were vacationing for a week or two at a time. I have always been an animal lover, and have some experience understanding canine behavior. In my spare time, I like walks and picnics. I draw, paint, shop for vintage, and enjoy classic films. My skills include: being attentive and in tune with your dog's needs, being equally firm and direct as well as gentle and loving toward your pup. I also have experience with bathing, and administering medication and eye drops.
