About Laura

I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I went to IUSB for Early Childhood Education , but never graduated as I started my own family. I was a widow at 24 and proudly raised my 2 children on my own. I have worked at Growing Kids Learning Center for a total of 9 years and ran my own successful home daycare for 7 months. I ended my daycare as I was also going to school full-time for medical assisting , which I have an Associates Degree with honors. For the past 7 years I have worked at a variety of specialties as well as a family practice. I have watched several local doctors children, including weekend stays as they went out of town. I also worked as a babysitter for the South Bend Clinic for prospective doctors coming in from out of town. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have always loved children and feel it is my passion to help them grow into amazing people. I would love to do that for your children. I am currently only available nights at 6 and weekends.
