About Laura

Since I have such a great passion & compassion for kids I am seeking for a full time Nanny position. I have worked in the medical field for 15 years, babysat for many different families over the past 10 years or more, CPR certified, and I just recently received my Massage Therapy License. I grew up in a Christian environment where family is everything. Over this past summer I was a mentor at The New Beginnings(Christian based mentor program) in Cape Coral Florida. For the young mothers there I was a mentor, life coach, and helped where needed with their children. I also helped with parenting skills and just everyday life skills. I would be with the children daily and do indoor and outdoor activities with them. There were four moms and five children with ages ranging from 8, 3, 2, 3mo, and 3mo. Some of the activities I would do with the children and the moms would be to take them to the beach, go for a walk, go to the park play games, and play play-doh. I also like to bake with the children depending if they are at an age to do so. I have always had a great passion for children and still love to be around them. I have learned that good communication and organization is a key to success.
