About Laurel

Hi there! My name is Laurel and I am a 23-year-old graduate of the University of Michigan with my social work degree! I have a real passion for working with children to support them in all phases of their life and am excited to work in supporting families in the Great Lakes Bay Area. I grew up in this region as a babysitter and baby for several families, working as a certified substitute teacher in K-12 education, and working in children's art camps as well! I really take a child centered approach to working with children, where creativity and independent play are prioritized. I can't wait to hear from any families who may be in need of care.
