About Lauren

Hello! I'm Lauren, a creative professional, educator, artist, and mom of 15-year-old twins. With a passion for helping others learn and grow, I offer enthusiasm, positivity and a patient heart. I believe every student has a unique learning style, and my role is to discover what works best for each individual learner. Drawing from 10 years of high school teaching experience and 4 years of tutoring elementary and middle school students, I've developed a flexible approach that meets students where they are. Areas of expertise include: • Art (both digital and traditional) • Computer skills (Microsoft & Mac platforms) • Core academic subjects • Math and literacy/writing development I hold a BA in Art from UCLA and earned my teaching credential at CSUDH. As a parent who has been actively involved in my own children's education since 2012, I understand both the academic and emotional support students need to succeed. I'm excited to help your child discover their unique path to learning!
