My name is Laurencia. I am a compassionate, dependable caregiver with experience supporting children, students, and seniors across educational, residential, and care settings. I bring a patient presence and genuinely enjoy helping others feel safe, supported, and encouraged. I have experience working with children as a resource specialist, middle school choir teacher, and caregiver within a homeless shelter childcare facility, where I supported children with varying needs through structure, creativity, and consistency. I am gifted in connecting with children through the arts, using music and creativity to build confidence, emotional expression, and positive routines. I hold a BA in Psychology and a MA in Marriage and Family Therapy, which enhance my ability to understand developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs.
