Hello there, I'm Lauren! I am a Westport resident with 10+ years of child care experience working with infants through early teens, between babysitting, working in an afterschool program, as a professional nanny and in a child care center setting. Currently, I work as a Family Assistant for a Yale-affiliate family in New Haven (where I used to live for the past seven years) with two school age kids. I am full-time (M-F) for them, so I am looking for date night/weekend babysitting gigs, either for short term or long term. Open to families living anywhere between Norwalk and New Haven, and I have a four hour minimum for weekend babysitting. As a person, I would describe my "vibe" as: kind, patient, calm, artsy, outdoorsy, easy to work with, and fun-spirited. Lauren was wonderful - she helped with school pick up and dinner prep for our two toddler daughters, they absolutely loved her. Excellent communication, punctual, asked insightful questions to ensure she knew how to best engage with our kids and ensure their safety (we have food allergies).
