About Lauren

Hello! My name is Lauren and I'm a college student with a passion for children! I am currently studying Special Education at Texas Woman's University. My freshman year of college, I went to Baylor University majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders in Speech-Language Pathology. My younger brother was diagnosed with autism at 2 years old and since then, I've been immersing myself within the special needs world! I love all kids no matter their background or differences. I was a special education paraprofessional for Frisco ISD for about five years and have babysat and caregave throughout the years for various families including children of all backgrounds and developmental disabilities. I also have a 4 children (1 biological+3 lovely bonus children) between the ages 5-10, so I have experience as a mother as well :) I currently work in law enforcement but looking to leave the field entirely to return back to education and sell needs caregiving.
