About Lauren

Hey there! I'm 22 years old and have been working with children in various roles since I was 16! I spent a total of 4 years working for the YMCA, where I supervised large groups of elementary school to high school aged kiddos daily for 2 years as an afterschool and summer camp counselor, and eventually as a head counselor. I am a senior environmental science/statistics major at UNC, so I'd love to provide miscellaneous help with homework or create enriching activities, I am particularly fond of math and outdoor learning! I'm also happy to help with carpooling, housekeeping, travel, errands, and swimming supervision. I need to refresh my official certifications soon but have been certified in first aid, CPR, and emergency medication delivery many times over. I'm happy to communicate updates via text, phone, or in person, following your preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules and encouraging social emotional learning as well as character trait development.
