About Lauren

I'd describe my personality as loving, kind, and playful with enthusiasm for learning and exploring! I like working with kids because they see wonder in the world making everything brighter! I found my passion, skills, and personality align with teaching and caring for children! I have 10 years of experience working in early childhood care, over 3 years being full time care. My skills include child social-emotional development, teaching through play and creating fun activities, listening, engaging with and understanding children so they feel seen, heard, valued, and loved. I have experience with special needs children including sensory processing, autism, non-verbal, social/emotional regulation, and physical limitations. In my spare time, I like to create art, music, painting, crochet, and more. I'm outdoorsy and an avid hiker and backpack camper. Spending time with good friends and family is important to me, and I practice yoga for mental, emotional, and physical health.
