Personable, dependable, compassionate. I like working with animals because I am a highly empathetic person. I grew up an only child - my pets were my best friends. I started caring for my pets in 1993, a variety of creatures: cats, dogs, fish, small rodents, small non-venomous snakes, turtles, iguanas, and geckos. I even cared for 13 baby alligators! I'm looking for a job that gives me flexibility to work around the care I provide for my family. I work as an interior designer and a visual artist professionally. As the sole provider for my 2 kiddos and my mother, extra money is always helpful. I'm independent and a problem solver: if I don't know how, I learn how. I thrive in leadership roles. My skills include providing care, companionship, and love to pets while their owners are away at work (or on an island vacation). I have a large SUV capable of pet transportation. I focus on fitness by walking and strive for daily step goals making me an ideal candidate for dog walking.
