About Lauren

I've been caring for children since I was 11 years old, starting with babysitting and later taking a child development course in high school where I helped create lesson plans for preschoolers. I spent my summers nannying and caring for my three nephews, which deepened my love for early childhood education. After nearly a decade in the service industry, I became a Montessori teacher in Kansas, starting as a floater in ages newborn to 5 years old and quickly moving into the lead 12-18 month classroom. After relocating to California, I nannied for several families and later became the lead teacher in the 18-24 month classroom at a Montessori school in La Jolla while attending classes to further my education in infant and toddler development. I'm CPR certified, organized, and passionate about helping little ones grow through hands-on learning, sensory play, and everyday life experiences.
