About Lauren

I'm a licensed Intervention Specialist that has 2 years of experience working with K - 6th grade students. I work primarily with students who have specific learning disabilities. I am in charge of writing and managing students individualized education plans. Everyday I lead a range of different small groups and one-on-one sessions using evidence based interventions. I have seen so much growth from all of my students these past years, and have seen many get back onto grade level after being several years behind. I love getting to know students, and figuring out what works best for them. Recently I have had a set of twins, and although I love teaching I would like to take a step back from full time work. Tutoring will allow me to be more present to my own children, while still helping others excel in their education.
