About Lauren

I am an Early Childhood public school teacher by day. I especially love helping kids learn to manage their emotions and self-regulate. I also have experience working with special needs children. I believe in a firm but gentle approach grounded in mutual respect when working with kids. I love doing crafts and projects with kids over screen time! Also happy to help with homework and provide additional support in learning for all ages. I'd describe my personality as warm, grounded, and conscientious. I like working with kids because their imagination and creativity consistently inspires me to see things differently! One thing you should know about me is I love inspiring kids to love reading the way I did as a kid. My skills include de-escalation and emotional regulation (including with special needs children), early literacy skill building, and forming positive, healthy relationships with children.
