I'm a certified teacher eager to help students unlock their potential. With a college degree and two years of experience, I tutor math, English, study skills, and history for elementary, middle, and high school students. I believe in personalized support and create engaging, patient learning environments. I assess learning styles by listening and observing, encouraging open communication, and through regular check-ins. I keep students motivated by connecting topics to their interests and breaking down problems. Communication is essential for understanding needs and building trust. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable tutoring at your home, a center, online, or at the library. I am also CPR and First Aid trained. I'd love to help your student succeed!
