About Lauren

A little bit about me and my journey . I started babysitting at an early age. My mom is a pediatric nurse and always wanted to follow in her footsteps in caring for children. My parents lived in a big community and I ended up watching over 20 families who I still keep in contact with some kids that I started watching when they were young or graduating college and it's been such a joy to see them grow and be a part of their lives. I worked in human resources for a few years, but decided watching children was what I was meant to do. I've mainly watched kids from newborn to 5 years old. Before my last family I was a live in nanny for a family and traveled with them. They had a 2-year-old and newborn. I currently have been working for different families until I find the right long-term fit and still do overnights for my previous work family. My type of nanny style is creating a calm environment centered around art, reading, exploring the outdoors, music, laughter and much more.
