About Lauren

Hi! My name is Lauren. I have several years of experience working with children in a variety of settings including nannying, teaching preschool, and working with youth in residential care. I previously worked as a Lead Preschool Teacher and manager at Simply Giggle Montessori Childcare, and I have also nannied for two boys over the summer - I had an absolute blast with them and honestly miss the babies I used to work with. I am currently in graduate school for Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and I'm especially interested in working with children and families. My background includes training in trauma-informed care and crisis intervention, and I am also a Certified Wilderness First Responder. In addition, I'm ServSafe Management certified through my work as a cook in the military. Because of my graduate school schedule, I'm currently looking for something flexible or shorter shifts, but I'm more than happy to talk through options that work well for both of us!
