About Layla

At Johns Hopkins University, Layla received her Bachelors in International Studies and Political Science with a minor in Islamic Studies, all while becoming strategically adept at a niche aspect of Middle Eastern geopolitics. Layla has over six years of experience tutoring students in Math, Science, SAT/ACT, Politics, and Languages for over six years. She has also served as a Yemen Intern at the American Enterprise Institute, Research Analyst at the Foreign Policy Research Institute, Legislative Intern at the United States Congress in the Office of Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and Consultant at the Iraq Data Analysis Center. In August, she will join a top-two international law firm, before attending Law School in 2024.
