About Leah

Hi - New to Denver from Houston, TX. There, I owned my own business working as a mobile swim instructor. The majority of my childcare work has on a part-time basis; though, I do have have 5 years of full-time nanny experience. Looking for part-time opportunities and open to short-term work as well. I've worked in childcare and with children. for over 17 years - in Houston, NYC, the Hamptons, Alabama, and Mississippi. I've cared for kiddos from 3 months to 16 years of age. I also have 8 years of volunteer experience working with kids and adults with disabilities. Through those volunteer opportunites as well as caring for my own sister, who has Rubinstein-Taybi Syndrome, I've gained invaluable experience in learning to adapt to a wide range of abilities, behaviors and personalities. It's incredibly exciting to find new ways to engage children and help them grow. I've got a great attitude, a lively personality, and will always put your kids first.
