About Leah

I'd describe my personality as responsible, silly, and caring I like working with kids because kids are fun to be around! I enjoy learning from children and watching them learn from me. Showing them kindness and gentleness, giving them an explorative space to discover who they are. I started working with children when I was 13 babysitting neighborhood kids. Growing up in a large family, I have 7 nieces and nephews to watch over and keep track of. It's always been an important part of my life and something I find great joy in. In my spare time, I like to make music. I have been playing guitar and singing for the past few years and perform at venues all over the city. It's my creative outlet and favorite thing to do. I would love to teach children how to play guitar/piano/ drums! My skills include thinking on my feet, especially in the case of an emergency. I am also great at making a child feel heard, and have the physical stamina to keep up with the most energetic kids.
