About Leah

Hello families! My name is Leah, and I am excited to start working with you and your wonderful children. We might be a match if you're looking for someone with childhood development cred -- both in theory and in practice. I recently received two degrees from San Francisco State University in Child and Adolescent Development, covering early childhood and school age, and minored in special education. I've been putting what I learned to good use with the families I support, both long term ad occasionally. I understand why babies, toddlers, preschoolers and kiddos do what they do; I understand what is developmentally appropriate for them; and I will help guide them with the exploration of the world and their interaction with it. Pediatric First Aid and CPR certified through the Red Cross. All vaccinations up to date.
