About Leia

Hello! I have been a RN for 2 years working inpatient and home care. My favorite patient population has always been the elderly. I love listening to their stories and providing comfort and a kind face to those who struggle to remember. I have Alzheimer's training as well as CPR and first aid. I provide services such as errands, light housekeeping, and meal preparation. I strive to understand each person's preferences and history to build a strong connection. When caring for individuals with memory care needs, I'm experienced in de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities. I'm patient, compassionate, empathetic, and always follow the family's preferred communication method with regular updates. Supporting families and providing reliable care is important to me. I hope to bring families comfort in knowing that their loved one is taken care of, safe, and happy :)
