On the surface Leidy seemed to be a great hire. I believe she has the heart and mindset to be a good nanny. I think she needs to be realistic about her limitations and what she can and cannot do. The position was for a nanny to care for our 4 children (1-5yo) who attend school and day care at least 8 hours per day, as well as house cleaning. 

I was very detailed and transparent about my hiring needs, the demand and weight of the position, during the interview. I offered two options for the position, one with less hours and responsibility. She accepted the full position. Once she arrived we discussed the need for a separate arrangement for cleaning, outside of child care, for two weeks. I was committed and wanted to ensure she knew we were serious about her work and compensation. At the moment we agreed to the additional compensation we paid her in advance, using the electronic service she requested, for cleaning. She immediately noticed a fee for the EFT service and complained promptly. I told her we would pay the fee with her weekly compensation on pay day. 

Leidy worked for our family 6 days and quit via text in the middle of the 7th day, leaving my son stranded at school. Needless to say this was devastating for many reasons. Outside of securing my son, I was 1 day from traveling out of the country on a mission trip, which I shared with her during the interview. Having a nanny in place to assist my husband and to care for my children while he was at work was critical. I tried to call her to see if we could work out a different working schedule but she refused to take my call. She did however text apologizing for quitting but she said she "couldn't do it". She was looking to be paid for a partial week and offered to refund us any money of we felt she may have owed us. 

My husband and I noticed almost daily that she seemed distracted and uneasy. Although I worked along side of her with the kids in the morning and evening to get her acclimated, I don't think she really wanted to commit to the whole job. 

In all fairness to her, I must say she did a great job organizing and cleaning. I just don't think she properly assessed the job and consideration of the work she wanted in her new position. I can see her working in an environment with no challenges for a family with one child and little housework. Ultimately regardless of the position, personal matters may take its toll on her length of stay and stability.

Leidy is reliable and very caring. For the time she has been with my children, i have to say she is down to earth,helpful, playful with both my children despite their age difference.She is never rude and always keeps my home neat and asked what else she can do to help. If you get Leidy, you get a great caregiver.

Leidy is awesome, she is always on time and very dependable. She was with me everyday for almost a year. Plus she was able to pick up all my dogs hair i can never get rid of, so that's a PLUS!!!!"Leidy not only cleaned my home but saves me from a very stressful days.  
She left my house spotless everyday and even took off stains I had never been able to remove before.  I highly recommend her and will use her again!! Thank you
