About Leigh

Hi! My name is Leigh. My husband, son, and I live in Leland. I'm a special education teacher and my son also has Autism. I love working with children of all ages from developmental delays and needs to basic reading and writing skills. This is my 21st year in education and I'd be honored to work with your child. I'd describe my personality as dependable, trustworthy and flexible. I like working with kids because there are many children who need that one adult that believes they are as amazing as they truly are! I'm looking for a job that is similarly related to my career. I started working with kids in 2004. In my spare time, I like to spend time with family. One thing you should know about me is your child's safety is and will be of the upmost importance. My skills include behavior management, fine motor skills, and self help skills.
