Hi, thank you for taking the time to read a little about me! I've spent the past three years as a nanny for children ages 2-9, and in that time I've learned to juggle everything from school pick-ups to snack negotiations-always with patience, humor, and a smile. I come with wonderful references, CPR and First Aid certification, COVID vaccination, a little bit of spanish with a willingness to learn more, and I'm just as comfortable caring for pets as I am keeping a home tidy and running smoothly. I truly believe I'd be a great addition to your family and would love the chance to bring some calm, consistency, and fun into your household. I'll be moving to the city early next year to create better opportunities for myself and my partner, and I'm hoping to step into a full-time position before I arrive. I look forward to talking with you soon!
Leilah has been a significant help to our family with very active and energetic 3 boys (3, 8 and 9). She was very reliable and showed up on time every time she was scheduled. She went above and beyond to keep our children entertain (finding ways to keep them busy like taking them to library or local park) and follow our rules regarding technology and screen time. She drove our vehicle daily and at times allowed us to use her car also and she was always very safe. She maintained a positive attitude at all times, even when our boys were being difficult, and knew how to fix situations (i.e. reading to our youngest to help him have nap time) and also very proactive about organization in our home storage and pantry area, often doing this before I would ask. She also helped with laundry and cleaning after the children and managed to stay on top of all their activities and events throughout the week by being resourceful of finding locations with very little direction from me. She would know which sport event for each day of the week and would thoroughly pack their lunch and snacks and kept lists of what else was needed in our home for grocery shopping (sometimes she would do this for me and also run other errands). Overall, she’s been such a great help to us and I’m very grateful for the time she’s been with our family. We would have loved to keep her but she had a great opportunity to move out of state which we were very happy to hear about.
