About Lesley

Finding care for your little one from across the country is terrifying, but from the second Lesley submitted her application, that terror started to melt away. She submitted a very personalized response, speaking to each specific of our job posting; her reviews were glowing; and when I showed my daughter Lesley’s photo, she immediately broke into the most beatific smile. Lesley finessed a video meeting with ease, no easy task with a three year-old; and upon hiring, she even took the time to text us all of the local hot tips for fun with a little one. When our in-person meeting at last arrived, my daughter was immediately smitten; she chose to sit beside Lesley at lunch who, just as previous reviews reference, pulled toddler magic from her Mary Poppins-like bag of tricks. Needless to say, my daughter was thrilled that she would soon be spending a special evening with Lesley. As my husband and I headed off to the wedding we’d travelled across the country for, our daughter didn’t bat an eyelash. And when we returned home, Lesley had our daughter in bed, holding her hand as she willingly attempted to drift off to sleep. This was totally unprecedented. I could and have gone on and on, but in short, Lesley has us considering a cross -country move (or at least another visit), just to spend time with the most magical sitter there is.
