About Leslie

I'm a recent empty nester. My daughter is a sophomore at UAB. I'm a single mom. I'm also a librarian, and have lived in Auburn for 21 years. I have two cats, and I like dogs. I enjoy children of all ages. My daughter has ADHD. I'd describe my personality as friendly, fun-loving, and patient. I like working with kids because they are so smart and perceptive. I always learn something new. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and fun. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I also babysat when I was in college and after college. I regularly interact with children at my library, and love to read books to children. In my spare time, I like to play Pokemon Go with my friends. I also enjoy going to the gym. One thing you should know about me is I grew up in Birmingham, and go frequently to see my family. My skills include knowing CPR and first aid, experience with children who have ADHD, and following bedtime and other routines.
