About Leslie

Hi, I'm Leslie! I'm a nursing student with 3. 5 years of experience as a patient care technician on a med-surg telemetry unit and 6 months as a home health aide. I've cared for older adults, including those with dementia, post-operative needs, mobility limitations, and complex medical conditions. My experience includes assisting with bathing, toileting (bedpan, commode, incontinence care), ambulation, and other activities of daily living. I'm also trained in taking vital signs, blood glucose checks, and recognizing changes in condition. I have an active AHA BLS certification. I'm nurturing, calm, and safety-focused, and I truly care about my patients' physical and emotional well-being. I'm fluent in Spanish and comfortable with overnight care and mobility assistance. I do not administer medications but can assist with reminders.
