As a retired RN and mother of 4, I have years of caregiving including animals: I had a family kitty, Mitzie, who joined my fam 1 month before I was born and lived 19 years!!! She was my best friend. I've been watching friends and families dogs and cats for a couple years since I'm retired. It supplements my SSI I don't mind staying at your place and have flowing local references. Also, just a note, I was able to intervene twice with my own dog and kitty with my nursing skills and saved both of their lives.
