Leslie I have cared for and transported patients to and from Dialysis. I have cooked and prepared special diets as well as I have done puréed food . I have taken patients to chemo treatments, I have used slide boards and hoyer lifts , I was shown by nurses to change a wound vac. I have changed dressing's used sterile water and duederm and 4x4. I have done Rom with patients. When they can help and when they can't . Used thickit in their liquid . I have taken patients for therapy. Even got in the pool with them . Re training bladder when patients have been on a foley Catheter. I have irrigated a foley. I have cared for Hospice patients end of life . Cleaning them in bed , changing. Given meds under RN instructions. Good oral care and moistening their mouth. Worked a cadd pump. I have done tube feeding, I have helped with IV machines . I have cleaned tracheotomy and suctioned. Try to redirect dementia patients. Always try to help to get them on an even keel.
