About Leslie

I am writing to give positive feedback and to recommend Leslie for any caregiver position. I had the pleasure of working with her as a caregiver for my father BILL. Leslie has a great work ethic and a wonderful positive attitude. She is incredibly professional and friendly, and was able to answer my questions and always offered helpful information. Leslie was responsible for meal preparation, medication management, transportation, light housekeeping, laundry, and hygiene assistance. She gave him showers, helped him shave and was instrumental in getting him a lift chair. She has extensive experience with HOSPICE and was able to guide me through the process and knew what to ask the hospice nurses to make him more comfortable. I was most impressed by the incredible bond she developed with my father. She is extremely caring and attentive. Leslie always checked in on him after hours and on her days off. I was grateful of the emotional support she offered him and her ability to create a safe environment for him. The two of them would bond over old movies and stories, and he would tell her about his years in the military as a flight engineer. When my dad was hospitalized near the end of his life, she came and stayed with him at the hospital as I ran home to grab his belongings and take an hour nap. My dad, BILL had advanced dementia and didn’t always remember Leslie’s name towards the end, but always seemed to know she was a safe place. He trusted her. I highly recommend Leslie without reservation. She always goes above and beyond what is expected of her. We were incredibly blessed to have her. Leslie would be a valuable asset to any individual organization, seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and skilled caregiver. Donita D.
