Why Do I Love Working with Animals? Handling and connecting with animals has always felt natural for me. From 2017 to 2019, I volunteered over 200 hours at a local shelter, caring for all kinds of pets-each with their own quirks and personalities. I now have two lovely rescues, one ball of energy and a couch potato at home. Animals don't need small talk-they just want kindness, company, and maybe a few treats.
