About Liana

I have had the experience and pleasure of volunteering full-time as a live-in child caregiver at a children's home down in Peru for the past 7 years. I was responsible from anywhere from 20 to 50 children at a time, ranging in ages from newborns to teenagers. I am now fluent in the Spanish language after living in Peru and I know basic ASL if you are interested in me integrating language learning into play with your child. Apart from my experience at the children's home, I have the honor of being Aunt to my beautiful baby niece whom I have helped raise since she was a newborn, and I grew up babysitting my whole life. I have also worked as a caregiver at a children's nursing home and have experience with special needs. Born and raised on Long Island. I got my master's from the University of Pennsylvania. I enjoy finding creative and meaningful ways for us to have fun, learn, explore, and use our imagination.
