I have had the experience and pleasure of volunteering full-time as a live-in child caregiver at a children's medical/special needs home down in Peru for the past decade. I was responsible from anywhere from 20 to 50 children at a time, ranging in ages from newborns to teenagers. I have the honor of being an Aunt to 2 baby nieces and I grew up babysitting my whole life. Born and raised on Long Island. I am currently going to nursing school and looking for part time child care work.
