About Lillian

Hello! My name is Lily and I am super passionate about infant health (I currently work in Duke's NICU) and love working with children of all ages. I started babysitting around age 14 and have gotten a lot of good exposure to a variety of ages including in classroom settings. As a dancer and yoga instructor, I love being super active with kids and encouraging outdoor play. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and follow the parents' lead in this regard. I also follow the parents' preferred communication method to ensure open and effective communication about their child's day and any issues that arise. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Nutrition Science and have completed coursework in early child development. I am also CPR and BLS certified and know how to work with infants. I am willing to help with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision.
