About Lily

I'd describe my personality as quiet-natured, studious, and warm. I like working with kids because my biggest priority in life is to become a mother. I believe that children are the greatest gifts we've ever been given and that they should be treated as such. I'm looking for a job that will fulfill my love for children, work well with my college schedule, and be close to home. I started working with kids around five years ago in my church nursery. I worked with newborns and 1-2-year-olds in the church, and then volunteered at Wilmore elementary school with fifth graders. In my spare time, I love to read (SO much), and snuggle with my two cats. I am currently pursuing a psychology degree so I can learn more about early childhood development. I have take courses in lifespan developmental psychology, child/school psychology, and the psychology of learning and motivation. My skills include attentiveness, stress management, and emotional regulation skills (utilizing and teaching).
