Hi! I'm Lindsay! I've worked with children of all ages for over two decades! I currently nanny for three wonderful families with kiddos ranging from one to 4 years old. Prior to this I nannied for a family with two children under four years. Before my nannying career, I worked in an infant nursery at a daycare I had been with for 13 years, since I was a junior at the University of Iowa. I have also been a lead teacher in the toddler room and an assistant lead in the preschool room and the infant room. I am CPR and first aid certified. I read up on new material pertaining to early childhood development and education frequently, and get together with other nannies to share ideas and tools to ensure my kiddos thrive in my care. I am a dog mom to one wonderful pup named Percy. I enjoy reading, knitting, jogging, and going to the dog park. I am dependable, accommodating, prompt, and invested. Lindsay is a consummate professional. She is a smart, kind, compassionate and highly skilled caregiver who is able to not only make meaningful connections with kids, but also juggle multiple responsibilities when it comes to their care. Lindsay was a lifesaver when our family went from one to two kids. When I needed an extra set of hands to help with my 2-year-old daughter, Lindsay was truly amazing in how quickly she was able bond with my daughter and become a trusted caregiver, able to take my toddler to play outings, events at the library, and a number of other fun activities. She also had no problem preparing lunches for my daughter and putting her down for naps. And if I needed a few hours away, Lindsay had no problem caring for my infant & toddler at the same time. My infant also quickly took to Lindsay. 😊 Our family highly recommends Lindsay!
