About Lindsey Alexis

For over a 10 years, I've devoted myself to the joyful, and deeply rewarding work of teaching and mentoring students from early childhood through high school. I hold a Master's degree in the Art of Teaching, with a concentration in ELA for grades 4-10, and have taught a range of subjects, including 4th grade math and social studies, to 7th and 8th grade poetry and geometry, to 10th grade English Language Arts. I've also guided hundreds of students through the college application process, helping them tell their stories with confidence and clarity. I aim to build warm, affirming learning spaces where curiosity is encouraged, mistakes are welcomed, and students can be fully themselves. I take the time to meet each student where they are, nurture their strengths, and help them face academic challenges. Whether your child needs help catching up, stretching ahead, or simply wants to feel more confident in the classroom, I would be honored to be part of their learning journey.
