About Lindsey

Hello families! I've spent my entire adult life caring for children in various positions (drop in, daycare, nanny, schoolroom) including my own two, whom I homeschooled for their entire childhood (now adults). I was also a homeschool blogger and I wrote for the iHN as a contributing author on parenting styles and child development. I have worked with all ages including newborn to teen and special needs children and adults. I'm currently exploring a certification as postpartum doula/newborn care specialist. I form very strong bonds with the children, am friends to all families I work with, and I'm very flexible patient & nurturing. I choose an emotionally intelligent parenting style; mental health and secure attachment is of utmost importance to me and I choose to work with families who align with this. *Please note: As a professional nanny I adhere to legal practices as a household employee and I require a contract. **Also: I am relocating to PBC June 2026.
