About Lindsey

During my undergraduate studies, I gained valuable experience providing both individual and group tutoring across a range of early grade levels. I virtually instructed a 4th-grade student in reading three times per week for 10 weeks, focusing on comprehension and fluency. I also worked closely with two kindergarten students on guided reading strategies, supporting early literacy development through phonemic awareness and foundational reading skills. In addition, I tutored two 2nd-grade students, helping them strengthen their reading comprehension and decoding strategies. While pursuing my Master's degree, I continued this work by tutoring a Pre-K student in preparation for kindergarten, focusing on pre-literacy skills, letter recognition, and early language development. These experiences not only deepened my understanding of differentiated instruction but also reinforced my passion for supporting young learners at every developmental stage.
