About Lindy

Hello, my name is Miss Lindy. Nurturing children comes naturally to me, with 30 years of experience. I hold a college degree and have experience caring for children aged newborn to pre-teen and beyond. My approach is patient and calm, and I'm very comfortable reinforcing household rules. I believe open communication is key, and I always provide a verbal update at pickup to keep you informed about your child's day. I enjoy engaging children with outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable caring for up to four children at a time. I have a car for transportation. I have worked in Montessori programs and have an early childhood education background, as well as educational psychology. I have worked with special education and special needs and know how to care for children with T1D. I have no problem helping with medication, ports, feeding tubs, and such. I am willing to undertake longer stays and overnight trips if needed, and can wake up easily.
