My experience with senior caregiving is a very rewarding job. I assisted with Activites of Daily Living, light meal prep, showering, assist with transfers, reading, writing letters, light housekeeping vital signs, companionship. I also took care of a gentlemen that was in a w/c who had a brain tumor. Also a personal assistant and CNA for a Parkinson's patient. I love my job because I love helping others and knowing that you are serving a purpose in someone's life and making a difference. I have noticed that people with disabilities are a special breed of people and it doesn't matter who you are responsible caring for, there is always something to learn and I have met some wonderful people.
