About Lisa

I have been working in healthcare for over 20 years- for the last 13 as a RN and as a CNA prior to that. I have experience in ICU, in patient hospice and in an outpatient surgery center. I am skilled in providing respite care, transportation, and hospice services, as well as assisting with errands, shopping, and light housekeeping. I'm also experienced in meal preparation, dementia care, medical management, mobility assistance, and physical activity. My experience as a RN and also as a mother of two makes adept to changing routines, de-escalate stressful situations, and handle confusion with patience and understanding. I prioritize understanding each person's unique preferences and history to build a strong connection, and I always communicate with families using their preferred method. Being patient, empathetic, and approachable allows me to provide a safe and comfortable environment. I am certified in BLS, ACLS and PALS. I have a reliable car and am comfortable with and love pets.
