About Lisa

I homeschooled two children, for a doctor and his wife, for 7+ years, in English, reading, literature, science, and religious education, that was required by their homeschool curriculum. The younger one, was dyslexic and had some other behavioral issues. As they got older, their parents decided to try a regular, private school. I continued to help them with their assignments when needed, for many years after. I am a writer working on my second book. I am also a certified dog trainer and I have a veterinarian technician degree. I no longer train, due to mobility issues, but I have owned and trained everything from a Chihuahua to a hybrid wolf! I have owned birds, hamsters, turtles, a guinea pig, a chinchilla, a ferret, beta fish, and cats. I currently own a Labrador Retriever/Schnauzer mix, that I trained to be my personal service dog, and a cat. I can pet sit, give medication, but cannot walk dogs on leashes. and cannot climb stairs. (No reptiles, please! Turtles are okay!)
