Lisa took care of my Mom for almost 2 years. She took real care with Mom to make sure she felt safe at home, always looking after her meds, meals and encouraging her to drink and do some exercise everyday. She prepped meals for us, cleaned and did laundry and even ran errands and helped us at doctors visits. . I could be easy in my mind when she was on the job and I had to into work. Mom really enjoyed her company and thought of her as family. I am grateful that she was there for Mom when I had to be away. Her sincere affection for Mom was refreshing when so many caregivers can be so disinterested. I think Lisa found her calling to work with elders.
